Senior IT Project Manager – EWM in Pharma

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead the planning, execution and closure of EWM system implementation projects within scope, budget and timeline.
• ▹Manage stakeholder communications across departments and external partners.
• ▹Develop comprehensive project plans including resource allocation and risk mitigation strategies.
• ▹Oversee configuration, testing and deployment of EWM solutions, ensuring compliance with GxP and GDP requirements.
• ▹Direct and mentor project teams.
• ▹Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications with IT architects and warehouse operations.
• ▹Manage project budgets, procurement processes and vendor relationships.
• ▹Facilitate change management activities for smooth system adoption.

Requirements

• ▹Minimum 8 years of IT project management experience, including at least 5 years leading EWM or warehouse management system implementations.
• ▹Proven expertise in SAP EWM systems, including configuration, customization and deployment.
• ▹Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical operations and regulatory frameworks (GxP, GDP).
• ▹Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-phase projects with budgets exceeding €1 million.
• ▹Excellent people skills and a proven track record leading high-performing teams.
• ▹Advanced proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall or hybrid).
• ▹Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• ▹Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Jira or equivalent).
• ▹Excellent written and verbal English communication, able to present to senior stakeholders.

Nice to have

• ▹SAP EWM or change management certification.
• ▹Experience with warehouse automation technologies, system integration and API management.
• ▹Fluency in English.
• ▹Background in pharmaceutical manufacturing, distribution or supply chain.
