SAP MDM Consultant (Logistics Focus)

A logistics- and supply-chain-focused SAP Master Data Management (MDM) consulting role responsible for the accuracy, consistency, and governance of logistics-related master data in SAP systems.

Stack

Responsibilities

  • Support setup, governance, and maintenance of master data in SAP, including material, vendor, and customer master records
  • Support data cleansing, migration, and validation activities during SAP implementations or upgrades
  • Ensure master data integrity and alignment with logistics processes such as inventory management, procurement, and order fulfillment
  • Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to understand master data needs and integrate them into SAP
  • Support logistics modules (SAP MM, SD, WM/EWM) with accurate master data configurations
  • Identify and resolve logistics master data issues in collaboration with functional teams
  • Gather requirements, document processes, and provide training to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for logistics-related MDM issues
  • Contribute to developing master data governance frameworks and policies for logistics
  • Identify opportunities to streamline master data workflows to improve logistics efficiency

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or ERP-related roles
  • Strong understanding of SAP Master Data Management concepts
  • Experience with data migration
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment

Nice to have

  • Hands-on SAP MDM experience
  • Exposure to SAP or other ERP systems in a logistics context
  • Familiarity with SAP logistics modules (MM, SD, WM/EWM) or equivalent ERP systems
