Responsibilities

▹Partner with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deeply understand user needs and build a product that serves them
▹Write modular, secure, and well-tested code
▹Design and build software capable of reaching millions of daily users in Clojure
▹Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
▹Participate in architecture design and code reviews
▹Grow through mentoring within a framework for professional growth

Requirements

▹Familiarity with the paradigms of functional programming and some experience writing functional code
▹Experience working on Single Page Applications or backend services in a collaborative team
▹Experience using a distributed version-control system to work on a shared codebase
▹Familiarity with the concepts of relational databases
▹Interest in working with web technologies and pushing the limits of modern browsers

Nice to have

▹Experience with Clojure/Script
▹Experience with React
▹Experience with Re-frame
▹Experience with PostgreSQL
▹Experience with AWS
