Senior QA Engineer (m/f/d) Berlin / Remote

Responsibilities

• ▹Configure automated tests to execute reliably and efficiently in CI/CD environments
• ▹Monitor open issues for severity and priority, communicate risks, and follow through on remediation
• ▹Work with the product team and other development teams to understand how new features should be tested
• ▹Work with engineers to define and implement mechanisms to inject testing earlier into the software development process
• ▹Define non-functional testing needs (security, performance, etc.)
• ▹Develop new tests and tools for the frontend, backend, and CI/CD
• ▹Identify and act on opportunities to improve the QA process

Requirements

• ▹Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• ▹Demonstrable knowledge of functional programming
• ▹Experience testing complex single-page web applications and modern continuous integration systems (e.g. CircleCI, Travis)
• ▹Strong experience with modern web UI automation frameworks (e.g. Cypress.io, Spectron/WebdriverIO)

Nice to have

• ▹Knowledge of UI test automation on mobile
