Software Engineer (m/f/d) Berlin / Remote

Responsibilities

• ▹Partner with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deeply understand user needs and build a product that serves them
• ▹Write modular, secure, and well-tested code
• ▹Design and build software capable of reaching millions of daily users in Clojure
• ▹Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
• ▹Participate in architecture design and code reviews
• ▹Grow through mentoring within a framework for professional growth

Requirements

• ▹Familiarity with the paradigms of functional programming and some experience writing functional code
• ▹Experience working on Single Page Applications or backend services in a collaborative team
• ▹Experience using a distributed version-control system to work on a shared codebase
• ▹Familiarity with the concepts of relational databases
• ▹Interest in working with web technologies and pushing the limits of modern browsers

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with Clojure/Script
• ▹Experience with React
• ▹Experience with Re-frame
• ▹Experience with PostgreSQL
• ▹Experience with AWS
