Senior Frontend Engineer — Security (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• ▹Work on product features with an eye for security
• ▹Implement authentication mechanisms for the web and desktop apps
• ▹Conduct recurring security audits of frontend applications
• ▹Take part in implementing high-cadence development processes to ship a production application on an hourly basis with low risk
• ▹Advise and mentor engineers on aspects of frontend security
• ▹Implement decisions in Clojure(Script)

Requirements

• ▹Experience building web apps, eager to work on a single page application with ClojureScript
• ▹Deep understanding of the trade-offs of different web authentication mechanisms
• ▹Knowledge of how to mitigate XSS attacks
• ▹Understanding of the advantages HTTP-only cookies bring for storing session tokens
• ▹Knowledge of how to implement good CSPs and what the directives are for
• ▹Keeps up to date on best practices and new developments in frontend security

Nice to have

• ▹Prior experience with ClojureScript
