Canonical builds open source MLOps and data analytics solutions (Kubeflow, MLFlow, Airflow, ClickHouse, dbt) that run on cloud and Kubernetes. Engineers work across the full Linux stack up through the application layer in distributed teams.

Responsibilities

  • ▹Build end-to-end data analytics and MLOps solutions
  • ▹Design systems deployed on Kubernetes and standalone machines
  • ▹Apply distributed systems concepts (observability, tracing)
  • ▹Debug issues with upstream and Ubuntu communities
  • ▹Collaborate with a distributed team of engineers, designers and PMs

Requirements

  • ▹Professional or academic software delivery using Python
  • ▹Exceptional academic track record
  • ▹Undergraduate degree in a technical subject or equivalent path
  • ▹Professional written and spoken English

Nice to have

  • ▹Familiarity with Kubeflow, MLFlow, DVC, Feast
  • ▹Experience with Apache Superset, dbt, Airflow, Temporal
  • ▹Familiarity with Apache Trino or ClickHouse
