Team Coach for SMHI's Development Teams

Responsibilities

• ▹Coach teams in agile ways of working and principles
• ▹Facilitate planning sessions, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• ▹Support teams in identifying and removing obstacles
• ▹Create transparency around priorities and deliveries
• ▹Develop collaboration within and between teams
• ▹Drive continuous improvement of working methods and processes
• ▹Contribute to a culture of learning, transparency, feedback, and psychological safety
• ▹Initially facilitate two teams while taking part in SMHI's broader agile transformation

Requirements

• ▹Several years of work experience in agile coaching of software development teams, as team coach, scrum master, team lead, or similar
• ▹Post-secondary education in systems development and/or leadership, or equivalent competence acquired another way
• ▹Experience and ability to drive greater team autonomy, shorter lead times, better quality, and increased psychological safety
• ▹Knowledge and practical experience with Kanban and/or Scrum
• ▹A data-driven approach, proposing changes based on facts
• ▹Knowledge of agile ways of working and agile culture
• ▹A servant leadership mindset
• ▹Good Swedish and English skills, spoken and written

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with agile transformation
• ▹Value stream mapping experience
• ▹Coaching leadership per an established methodology, e.g. GROW or NÖHRAfun
• ▹Experience from a scientific organization
• ▹Knowledge of group development models, e.g. IMGD model or similar
