Vetenskapsradet, through Sunet, is looking for a security-focused system specialist to provide qualified support and take part in projects within operational security, including Microsoft Defender XDR-based monitoring.

Responsibilities

▹Operations-related security monitoring in Microsoft Defender XDR
▹Analysis of log data
▹Handling and supporting incidents related to operations and security
▹Quality follow-up to ensure correct documentation
▹Participation in security-related projects and activities
▹On-call duty

Requirements

▹A few years of experience in Windows environments, e.g. M365, EntraID, Defender XDR, Windows Server
▹Basic knowledge of Linux and networking
▹Experience analyzing logs and identifying patterns in large data sets
▹Good verbal and written communication skills in Swedish and English

Nice to have

▹Technical degree with a security specialization from university or college
▹Experience with log management platforms
▹Scripting knowledge, e.g. Python and PowerShell, and structured documentation habits
