Vetenskapsradet, through Sunet, is looking for a security-focused system specialist to provide qualified support and take part in projects within operational security, including Microsoft Defender XDR-based monitoring.

Responsibilities
- ▹Operations-related security monitoring in Microsoft Defender XDR
- ▹Analysis of log data
- ▹Handling and supporting incidents related to operations and security
- ▹Quality follow-up to ensure correct documentation
- ▹Participation in security-related projects and activities
- ▹On-call duty
Requirements
- ▹A few years of experience in Windows environments, e.g. M365, EntraID, Defender XDR, Windows Server
- ▹Basic knowledge of Linux and networking
- ▹Experience analyzing logs and identifying patterns in large data sets
- ▹Good verbal and written communication skills in Swedish and English
Nice to have
- ▹Technical degree with a security specialization from university or college
- ▹Experience with log management platforms
- ▹Scripting knowledge, e.g. Python and PowerShell, and structured documentation habits
