IT Operations Engineer role at a growing tech company, with broad responsibility for operations, security, and technical platform development, working closely with the CTO.

Responsibilities

  • ▹Work on operations, monitoring, and improvement
  • ▹Help manage container-based services in Kubernetes
  • ▹Contribute to developing and documenting working methods and processes
  • ▹Take part in implementing new technical solutions
  • ▹Work on security and help meet requirements such as ISO 27001

Requirements

  • ▹Relevant education plus a year or so of work experience after graduation, or equivalent relevant experience
  • ▹Experience with Kubernetes, e.g. operating container-based services, cluster administration, and CI/CD pipelines
  • ▹Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure
  • ▹Knowledge of Linux or Windows
  • ▹Interest in IT security and operations

Nice to have

  • ▹Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)
  • ▹Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code
