Responsibilities

• ▹Understand and qualify client needs by analyzing IT and business challenges
• ▹Study existing infrastructure: topology, performance, availability and security constraints
• ▹Design robust technical architectures: hardware/software sizing, technology choices, project planning (BUILD) and definition of associated services (RUN)
• ▹Write detailed, structured and well-argued technical proposals to support client bids
• ▹Actively take part in presales presentations, defending the chosen solutions in front of technical and decision-making stakeholders
• ▹Ensure a smooth handover to implementation and operations teams, tracking alignment between the sold solution and the one delivered
• ▹Keep an active watch on infrastructure technologies (manufacturers, vendors, standards)
• ▹Take part in partner events (manufacturers, vendors, tech trade shows) and maintain certifications

Requirements

• ▹Minimum 3 years of experience in presales or infrastructure architecture (datacenter, networks, virtualization)
• ▹Strong analytical, synthesis and technical argumentation skills
• ▹Excellent listening skills, ability to formalize needs, and client relationship skills
• ▹Confident oral communication (defending solutions, negotiation) and excellent writing skills
• ▹Familiarity with: rack and blade servers; SAN/NAS storage and backup (deduplication, tape libraries); SAN networks (Fiber Channel, iSCSI) and L2/L3 LAN; virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV); backup (VEEAM, RUBRIK); security (firewalls, antivirus); Microsoft environment (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, RDS)
• ▹Technical English, written and spoken
