Service Transition Specialist - IT Processes & Quality

Service transition specialist role supporting the execution, monitoring and continuous improvement of the IT service transition process: coordination, documentation and reporting, quality assurance checks, working closely with the service transition manager and team leads. Budapest office with up to 100% mobile work.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the alignment of service transition process dependencies, requirements and communication needs
  • Support the planning and coordination of service transition activities, including release and test management
  • Support the achievement of service readiness and the realization of transition milestones
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of service transitions and monitor execution (for example release documentation and the transition dashboard)
  • Create reports on transition performance
  • Assist in preparing materials for internal reviews and provide an overview across projects, changes and releases
  • Assist in executing quality assurance checks and reviews (Approval Board, Release Management Board)
  • Track and document quality issues and help resolve discrepancies in collaboration with the relevant teams
  • Support training initiatives to promote adherence to quality standards
  • Track improvement initiatives within the organization to ensure alignment with strategic objectives
  • Gather feedback from stakeholders to identify process optimization opportunities
  • Support the implementation of process changes and quality improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, business administration or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 4-5 years in IT operations, process management or quality assurance roles
  • Good understanding of IT service management frameworks (for example ITIL) and agile methods
  • Good understanding of IT process and quality management principles
  • Proficiency in tools such as the Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and IT service management software (for example ServiceNow)
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in both English and Hungarian
