Databricks Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop modern data platforms and data pipelines based on Databricks and modern cloud technologies
• ▹Integrate data from a wide variety of source systems and ensure its quality
• ▹Work with Python, SQL and Apache Spark on scalable data solutions
• ▹Develop and optimize ETL and ELT processes for modern cloud environments
• ▹Support architecture decisions and technical questions within the projects
• ▹Work closely with customers, data architects and analytics teams

Requirements

• ▹At least 2 to 4 years of professional experience in data engineering
• ▹Confident with Python and SQL
• ▹Experience with Databricks, Apache Spark or comparable data engineering technologies
• ▹Knowledge of the Azure cloud environment or a comparable cloud platform
• ▹Enthusiasm for modern data platforms, analytics and AI
• ▹Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working
• ▹German at C1 level or native level

Nice to have

• ▹Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric
