(Power) Electronic/Electrical Design Engineer Intern – Drive/Traction Inverter

Responsibilities

• ▹Troubleshoot traction inverter hardware and support high-volume manufacturing and field studies
• ▹Characterize and model power semiconductors and traction inverter performance
• ▹Develop and test circuit technologies to improve traction inverter performance
• ▹Collaborate with modeling, mechanical, manufacturing and test teams

Requirements

• ▹Currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or equivalent experience
• ▹Hands-on experience designing and testing high-voltage power converters and PCBA
• ▹Familiarity with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies) and circuit simulation tools
• ▹Demonstrated interest in electrical/electronic design engineering

Nice to have

• ▹Experience analyzing and testing high-voltage power semiconductors (switching waveforms, loss mechanisms)
• ▹Understanding of schematics, datasheets and application notes
• ▹Familiarity with Matlab and/or Python
