IT Monitoring Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Plan, implement, and further develop central monitoring and logging platforms, including onboarding new data sources
• ▹Analyze monitoring and log data for error diagnosis, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization
• ▹Develop dashboards, reports, alerting rules, and monitoring metrics
• ▹Automate operational processes and advise technical teams on monitoring configuration
• ▹Integrate security and compliance requirements, and produce technical documentation

Requirements

• ▹IT-related vocational training or degree plus several years of IT experience
• ▹Solid experience operating and configuring monitoring and logging systems
• ▹Knowledge of monitoring server and network systems
• ▹Structured, analytical, solution-oriented way of working
• ▹Very good German and good English

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) and automation
