Student Assistant – IT Forensics and AI Security Training Courses

Responsibilities

• ▹Updating course material by topic or creating new material: presentation slides, screencast videos, web-based trainings (WBTs)
• ▹Researching technical developments and research findings
• ▹Developing hands-on PC exercises: designing concepts, assembling tools, exercise data and scripts (e.g. Bash, Python), writing task sheets and sample solutions, conducting user tests
• ▹Compiling new forensic data sets: researching or generating images, videos and text corpora
• ▹Optimizing existing course material: clarity, corporate design, readability
• ▹Testing in-house and external forensic tools
• ▹Optionally: implementing compact GUIs for CLI tools, administering VMs and GPU servers for the exercises

Requirements

• ▹Enrolled in a STEM degree program
• ▹Good knowledge in at least one of the relevant subject areas (digital forensics, deepfake detection, OSINT, machine learning, AI security)
• ▹Strong interest in communicating expertise in a structured, understandable way
• ▹Graphic design skill for slides and training videos
• ▹Independent work, meeting deadlines
• ▹Good German (at least B2 level, since the course program is delivered in German)

Nice to have

• ▹Teaching experience (e.g. teacher-training program, tutoring)
