Technical Consultant – Network & Observability

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Design and implement modern network and monitoring architectures together with customers
• ▹Support customers in early project phases (discovery, workshops), develop technical concepts, demos, and PoCs
• ▹Present concepts in customer meetings, showcasing network observability, automation, and intelligent analysis
• ▹Integrate relevant data sources and protocols (Telemetry, SNMP, NetFlow, Syslog)
• ▹Bring in OT/IoT security as a second focus area: asset visibility, risk/vulnerability transparency, and segmentation approaches
• ▹Work hands-on with tools such as Kentik, NetBrain, LogicMonitor, Armis, Sematicon, and Akamai Guardicore

Requirements

• ▹Degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable field
• ▹Familiarity with network technologies, LAN/WAN architectures, and TCP/IP
• ▹Knowledge of observability, telemetry, SNMP, NetFlow, and Syslog concepts, or willingness to learn them
• ▹Initial exposure to monitoring/observability or automation platforms
• ▹Service-oriented attitude and clear communication
• ▹Very good German and English, and willingness to travel

Nice to have

• ▹Knowledge of OT/IoT security topics
• ▹Experience with Linux systems and scripting (Python, Bash/Shell)
