Tech Lead/Senior Node.js Backend Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, develop and maintain backend services (Node.js, TypeScript)
• ▹Build and enhance APIs, data models, platform components
• ▹Work with MongoDB, Redis, AWS
• ▹Build high-load, high-availability backend systems
• ▹Set up and support cloud infrastructure
• ▹Improve deployment, monitoring, logging, alerting
• ▹Troubleshoot production issues
• ▹Contribute to architectural decisions

Requirements

• ▹CS/Math or related technical degree
• ▹7+ years commercial backend development
• ▹Strong Node.js and TypeScript expertise
• ▹Hands-on MongoDB and Redis experience
• ▹Proven high-load production systems track record
• ▹Solid backend architecture and API design understanding
• ▹Cloud infrastructure setup experience
• ▹Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• ▹Able to work independently in fast-paced environment

Nice to have

• ▹Distributed systems and event-driven architectures
• ▹Messaging systems and async workflows
• ▹Fintech, trading, or marketplace experience
• ▹Startup/scale-up environment experience
• ▹CI/CD, containerization, infra automation
