Senior Node.js Backend Engineer (Infrastructure & High-Load Systems)

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
• ▹Build and enhance APIs, data models and core platform components
• ▹Work with MongoDB, Redis and AWS cloud services
• ▹Design and maintain high-load backend systems with high availability
• ▹Set up, configure and support cloud infrastructure
• ▹Improve deployment, monitoring, logging and alerting
• ▹Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system stability
• ▹Contribute to backend and infrastructure architectural decisions

Requirements

• ▹Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field
• ▹7+ years of commercial backend development experience
• ▹Strong Node.js and TypeScript expertise
• ▹Hands-on MongoDB and Redis experience
• ▹Track record of building and supporting high-load production systems
• ▹Solid backend architecture, API design and scalable system design
• ▹Cloud infrastructure setup and support experience
• ▹Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
• ▹Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

• ▹Distributed systems and event-driven architectures
• ▹Messaging systems and asynchronous workflows
• ▹Fintech, trading platform or other high-load system experience
• ▹Startup or scale-up experience
• ▹CI/CD, containerization or infrastructure automation
