Percona's global support team is looking for a PostgreSQL expert to help customer DBA teams solve complex database issues, tune performance and implement high-availability solutions.
Responsibilities
- ▹Investigate and analyze customer database issues
- ▹Run screen-sharing sessions to resolve production incidents
- ▹Write blog posts, forum answers and knowledge base articles
- ▹Host webinars
Requirements
- ▹Hands-on PostgreSQL knowledge (tools, contribution modules)
- ▹Performance tuning, query and index optimization
- ▹Knowledge of backup solutions (pg_basebackup, pgBackRest, WAL-G)
- ▹Linux system administration experience
- ▹Customer communication in English
Nice to have
- ▹MySQL knowledge
- ▹Kubernetes knowledge
- ▹Patroni/Repmgr/Stolon
- ▹AWS/RDS, Azure, GCP experience
- ▹Ansible/Puppet/Chef
Soft skills
