Software Developer (Embedded Test Automation)

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, develop and implement software solutions for automated testing of electronic components and systems
• ▹Develop hardware-related software solutions, mainly in Java and C/C++
• ▹Create test concepts, test configurations and test environments using common test frameworks
• ▹Systematically analyze, troubleshoot and fix hardware and software faults in complex electronic circuits
• ▹Coordinate closely with electronics development, the test team and other development areas
• ▹Introduce build automation and further develop modern development and test processes

Requirements

• ▹Completed technical education, ideally HTL, university of applied sciences or university in electronics, information technology, computer science or a related field
• ▹Several years of relevant experience in test automation, hardware-related software development or electronics development
• ▹Solid programming skills in Java and C/C++
• ▹Very good Git skills, basic Linux knowledge, and experience with build and DevOps tools (Maven, GitLab CI/CD, Ansible)
• ▹Basic understanding of electrical engineering, experience reading circuit diagrams, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• ▹Communication skills, willingness to collaborate

Nice to have

• ▹Knowledge of C#, Python or Rust
