Responsibilities

▹Define the technical strategy and roadmap for the ML platform
▹Define reference architectures and standards for scalable data/ML pipelines
▹Set direction for MLOps practices (CI/CD for models, model registry, feature stores)
▹Establish the architecture for ML system reliability and observability
▹Define the ML platform's security architecture (RBAC, audit logging)
▹Provide technical leadership and mentorship across engineering teams

Requirements

▹Expert-level Python and Java with strong software engineering fundamentals
▹Deep experience building large-scale ML platforms and MLOps workflows
▹Familiarity with MLFlow, Kubeflow, Ray or equivalent tools
▹Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure and/or GCP), Docker/Kubernetes
▹Proven track record setting org-wide technical direction

Nice to have

▹Familiarity with Azure Machine Learning and Databricks
▹Experience optimizing large language models (LLMs)
▹Experience implementing security practices at scale (MFA, network security)

Soft skills
