Responsibilities

• ▹Lead the full biosignal-based algorithm development lifecycle for medical devices: specifications, data curation and labeling, development, failure analysis, production and documentation
• ▹Select, implement and develop the most appropriate method for each problem, choosing between deep learning and other techniques
• ▹Enhance internal deep learning and machine learning tools to boost team efficiency and enable rapid experimentation
• ▹Improve best practices so algorithm implementations are user-friendly, well documented and thoroughly tested, including unit tests, CI and regression testing
• ▹Present results to key stakeholders
• ▹Support client-facing projects, shaping the impact of Beacon's algorithms for customers

Requirements

• ▹4+ years of industry experience in machine learning and deep learning, ideally in health sciences or another regulated field
• ▹Track record of bringing algorithms into production
• ▹Experience with digital signal processing (DSP) and statistics
• ▹Proficiency with PyTorch (preferred) or another deep learning framework
• ▹Familiarity with the latest deep learning advances
