Responsibilities

• ▹Conceive and implement AI-powered applications (e.g. LLMs, computer vision, machine learning, optimization methods)
• ▹Integrate AI models into existing software systems and cloud architectures, working with other developers
• ▹Advise customers on identifying and specifying AI use cases
• ▹Support requirements analysis and design of tailored AI strategies
• ▹Continuously develop AI solutions as part of the team

Requirements

• ▹Proficiency in Python, ideally with another language (Kotlin, Java, C#, or TypeScript)
• ▹Routine, independent work with tools like PyTorch, LlamaIndex, Hydra, mlflow, or pymoo
• ▹Staying current with developments in the AI field
• ▹Explaining solutions clearly and convincingly, including to non-technical customers
• ▹Clean code mindset, including in Jupyter notebooks
• ▹Collegial, critical, technically convincing working style
• ▹Confident, productive use of AI coding tools (e.g. Claude Code)
• ▹Active participation in internal tech talks and code reviews
• ▹Independently breaking down complex customer problems into smaller sub-problems
• ▹Bringing AI systems safely into production on cloud platforms with MLOps best practices
• ▹Very good German and English (at least C1)
