Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS)

Responsibilities

• ▹Implement DevOps practices: DevOps culture, CI/CD, IaC, observability, scalability, automation, SRE and FinOps
• ▹Design and develop cloud platform architecture on AWS
• ▹Optimize cloud environment costs
• ▹Build and expand the runtime environments for software developed by the team
• ▹Collaborate with development teams on designing and implementing solutions
• ▹Build and maintain tools that automate the software delivery process
• ▹Balance a high level of security with team flexibility and convenience
• ▹Prepare documentation supported by Infrastructure as Code
• ▹Automate processes using AI
• ▹Share knowledge within the DevOps community

Requirements

• ▹At least 5 years of experience in IT, including DevOps or Cloud Engineering
• ▹Hands-on experience with AWS
• ▹Knowledge and use of CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• ▹Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef or Puppet
• ▹Good knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and containerization
• ▹Hands-on experience with observability
• ▹Writing automation scripts in Bash, Python or PowerShell
• ▹Experience with Cloud Cost Optimization and FinOps, including monitoring, analyzing and optimizing cloud costs
• ▹Using Generative AI solutions in daily work, process automation or architectural decisions
• ▹Understanding of security, reliability and scalability of cloud environments
• ▹At least B2-level English, spoken and written

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with other cloud providers (e.g. GCP)
• ▹Programming experience

What we offer

• ▹135-195 PLN/hour net plus VAT (B2B)
• ▹16,000-23,500 PLN gross for employment contract
