Kubernetes Platform Senior Engineer - Senior Consultant (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• ▹Gather and analyze client requirements in vSphere Supervisor / VMware Cloud Foundation environments
• ▹Create and coordinate technical concepts for Kubernetes platforms on vSphere
• ▹Lead strategic workshops and provide consulting on vSphere Kubernetes Service architecture and design
• ▹Develop implementation roadmaps
• ▹Implement designed solutions: namespace deployment, network policies, storage for pods and clusters
• ▹Troubleshoot Kubernetes environments managed through vSphere Supervisor

Requirements

• ▹Minimum 3-4 years of professional experience in Software Defined Data Center (SDDC) environments, especially VMware vSphere Supervisor
• ▹Practical knowledge of vSphere Supervisor (Namespaces, Supervisor Services, network policies, storage, security, Harbor, Cert Manager, Contour/Nginx ingress)
• ▹Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions
• ▹GitOps knowledge (ArgoCD, FluxCD)
• ▹Observability tools: VCF Operations (vROps), Prometheus, Grafana, Fluent Bit
• ▹Linux experience, especially Photon OS
• ▹IP networking knowledge including microsegmentation, NSX and AVI Load Balancer
• ▹Analytical mindset, attention to detail, teamwork, strong customer focus
• ▹Fluent Spanish and excellent technical English

Nice to have

• ▹Direct experience integrating VMware Cloud Foundation with vSphere Supervisor / vSphere Kubernetes Service
• ▹Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery for containerized and VM-based workloads
