Senior/Lead Cloud Automation Developer

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using JavaScript/TypeScript, Python or tools like Terraform, Ansible, SaltStack, Chef, Puppet
• ▹Develop reusable frameworks, libraries, modules, templates and CI/CD pipelines following SOLID principles
• ▹Automate provisioning, configuration, scaling and monitoring of cloud infrastructure using VMware Aria Suite or vCloud Director
• ▹Integrate via APIs between VMware products and third-party systems and services
• ▹Work directly with customers during presales or delivery to define efficient implementation proposals
• ▹Lead and mentor the development team, including WBS definition and peer review

Requirements

• ▹8+ years of experience in cloud integration, customization and automation projects
• ▹Expertise in at least one major cloud platform: VMware, AWS, Azure or GCP
• ▹Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• ▹Proficiency in scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, Bash, PowerShell) or OOP languages (C#, Java, NodeJS)
• ▹Experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD
• ▹Knowledge of containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
• ▹Understanding of networking fundamentals: IP addressing, subnetting, routing, network devices, protocols and security
• ▹Experience leading a development team in Agile/Scrum environments
• ▹Excellent problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills in a multi-national setting

Nice to have

• ▹3+ years in a technical leading role
• ▹Experience and/or certification in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and the VMware product portfolio
• ▹Experience working with customers across the EMEA region
• ▹Experience in solution design
