Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• ▹Drive engineering-wide technical and non-technical initiatives
• ▹Support and amplify proactive engineers
• ▹Own track-level ceremonies, kick-offs, cross-team syncs, and retrospectives
• ▹Partner closely with Product Managers on user experience
• ▹Build and maintain a culture of ownership, trust, and continuous improvement
• ▹Set a clear performance bar and address concerns early and constructively
• ▹Hire, onboard, mentor, and grow engineers at multiple experience levels

Requirements

• ▹3+ years managing engineering teams in a product company, not agency or outsourcing
• ▹Experience building or scaling zero-to-one product and engineering initiatives
• ▹Familiarity with structured onboarding and growth frameworks
• ▹Ability to proactively identify problems and drive initiatives with incomplete information
• ▹Strong ability to prioritize and execute high-impact initiatives
• ▹Open, transparent communication and ownership of mistakes
• ▹High-quality, data-driven decision making
• ▹Close collaboration with Product Managers
• ▹Advanced English (C1+) and fluent Russian
