Manager, Field Applications - EMEA

Responsibilities

• ▹Travel frequently to customer sites
• ▹Troubleshoot issues related to technical skills, biochemistry/assay design, experimental design, software, and instruments
• ▹Support the commercial team and customers with technical applications and product training
• ▹Provide strategic and competitive feedback to marketing and product development, and lead or manage beta tests at customer sites
• ▹Work independently on significant, unique issues requiring collaboration with senior decision-makers
• ▹Mentor and lead a team of Field Application Scientists
• ▹Travel with team members to develop their training and troubleshooting skills
• ▹Lead regional team calls to develop tactical frameworks
• ▹Assist sales and marketing on pre- and post-sales strategic activities
• ▹Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to improve processes and scale the organization
• ▹Deliver customer training and workshops, in person and remote
• ▹Use CRM software to document customer opportunities
• ▹Collaborate with internal partners to resolve customer issues and improve processes

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's degree with 10+ years, Master's with 8+ years, or PhD with 6+ years of experience in NGS library construction
• ▹Hands-on experience with cell culture and tissue handling
• ▹Highly motivated with strong problem-solving ability
• ▹Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• ▹Highly collaborative and adaptable, able to work well within multidisciplinary teams
• ▹Skilled in nucleic acid and protein analytical methods
• ▹Physically located in the territory (DACH region) and willing to travel frequently

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with NGS sequencing instruments and sequencing run setup
• ▹Experience with single cell protocols and cell culture for multiomics workflows
