Responsibilities

▹Lead a team of Analytics Engineers and analysts, both professionally and disciplinarily, and develop each team member's career in a targeted way
▹Own the team backlog: prioritize stakeholder requests, protect team capacity, and communicate decisions transparently
▹Drive the quality and development of data products - from KPI definitions and self-service dashboards to semantic layers and AI products
▹Build lean processes for refinement, planning, and delivery, keeping overhead consistently low
▹Work closely with the Head of Data and technical peers, translating priorities into concrete team goals
▹Represent the Data team in coordination with Marketing, Sales, and Product

Requirements

▹Several years of experience in analytics or BI, having already led a team or teams professionally or disciplinarily
▹Fluent in German and English (C1 or C2 level)

Nice to have

▹Knowledge of modern data stacks (e.g. dbt, Redshift, Superset) and confident SQL skills - a plus, not a must

Thinks in terms of stakeholder value, not tickets, and knows when a request should be prioritized, reshaped, or declinedEngages engineers and non-technical colleagues equally, without needing to translate between the two worldsPrioritizes consistently and keeps an overview when multiple projects are running at once
