Data Analytics Team Lead

We're looking for an outstanding Data Analytics Team Lead passionate about data-driven decision making, who will lead and mentor the team while working with AWS cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the Data Analytics team, overseeing day-to-day activities, setting goals, and performing reviews
  • Interface with Senior Management to identify innovative uses of data and help drive BI and analytics strategy
  • Guide the design and implementation of data solutions through effective use of business intelligence tools
  • Work with Business, Product, and Engineering teams to determine metrics, reports, and analytics needed
  • Design, architect, implement, and support key datasets
  • Retrieve and analyse data using SQL and other data management & BI systems
  • Develop queries for ad-hoc requests and ongoing reporting
  • Monitor existing metrics and analyse data to answer key business questions
  • Review Data Analytics related processes and documentation for continuous improvement
  • Work with the latest AWS cloud technologies

Requirements

  • 10+ years in Data/BI/Analytics/Reporting roles
  • 2+ years in a similar team management role with a strong technical focus
  • Proven analytical and quantitative ability
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and advanced SQL usage
  • Experience with BI solutions - QuickSight (preferred), Tableau, QlikView, Power BI, etc.
  • Experience with data modelling and reporting
  • Experience with warehousing and DB optimizations, ETL/ELT processes
  • Experience with different DB engines like PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.
  • Familiarity with the latest AWS cloud-based tools and services - AWS Glue, QuickSight, Redshift, S3, etc.
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English
