Responsibilities

• ▹Collaborating with product managers, designers and other engineers to develop end-to-end features
• ▹Leading technical design discussions and making architectural decisions for new features and systems
• ▹Analyzing and optimizing code for quality, efficiency and performance, providing feedback during code reviews
• ▹Owning components, features or systems with expert end-to-end understanding
• ▹Managing project priorities, deadlines and deliverables
• ▹Collaborating with distributed team members across time zones, including offshore development teams
• ▹Building relationships and team cohesion across geographical and cultural boundaries

Requirements

• ▹3+ years of professional software development experience
• ▹Experience leading and mentoring junior developers
• ▹Expert proficiency with Python/Django
• ▹Strong proficiency with ReactJS, JavaScript and PHP
• ▹Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, web infrastructure and automated testing/deployment tooling
• ▹In-depth experience with cloud-based services (AWS)
• ▹Experience with various database technologies (Postgres, OpenSearch, Redis)
• ▹Experience with distributed data technologies (RabbitMQ, Celery)

Nice to have

• ▹Knowledge of digital advertising is a plus
