Python/Django Software Engineer (part-time, remote, with flexible schedule)

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Build a complex infrastructure of services in collaboration with the Development and Product teams using Python and Django
• ▹Contribute to digital therapeutics and other patient-facing applications
• ▹Develop clinician dashboards
• ▹Develop remote patient monitoring workflows
• ▹Integrate with third-party systems
• ▹Build analytics pipelines
• ▹Build tools for researchers and clinical trials

Requirements

• ▹At least 2 years of experience with Python/Django (or another MVC framework)
• ▹At least 2 years of experience with relational databases and SQL technologies (ideally PostgreSQL)
• ▹Solid understanding of HTTP and RESTful web service design, implementation, and maintenance
• ▹Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Django Templates
• ▹Ability to plan work and prioritize tasks independently to meet deadlines
• ▹Passion for high-quality output

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with cloud-based services such as Heroku, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, DigitalOcean
• ▹Understanding of integration and deployment processes
