Responsibilities

• ▹Implement Temporal workflow activities in Go (HSS adapter, PCRF adapter, Inventory update)
• ▹Build and validate unit tests for all workflow activities from day one
• ▹Build the Inventory Management database: tables, indexes, partitioning for 30M records
• ▹Build bulk import tooling: CSV to ICCID/IMSI/MSISDN range ingestion from vendors
• ▹Implement REST API endpoints for the Inventory DB (allocate, reserve, release, query)
• ▹Write integration tests: workflow to mock network element to database assertions
• ▹Support the senior developer through pair programming
• ▹Build an end-to-end test suite covering the full provisioning flow to order close
• ▹Run load and stress testing simulating peak TPS provisioning
• ▹Integrate test automation into the CI pipeline
• ▹Implement HSS sync integration
• ▹Add MNP (number portability) hooks in the Inventory DB
• ▹Support UAT: reproduce bugs, write regression tests, validate fixes

Requirements

• ▹2-4 years of backend software development experience in production environments
• ▹Go as primary language (Java accepted with strong fundamentals and willingness to transition to Go)
• ▹REST API development
• ▹PostgreSQL: table design, indexes, queries, understanding query plans
• ▹Unit and integration testing as a first-class responsibility
• ▹Git: branching, pull requests, code review
• ▹Experience with event-driven architectures (RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Redis Pub/Sub)
• ▹Basic Kubernetes knowledge
• ▹Ability to execute quickly under a senior lead's direction
• ▹Fluent English

Nice to have

• ▹Any workflow engine experience: Temporal, Camunda, Apache Airflow, AWS Step Functions
• ▹Telecom or BSS/OSS background
• ▹Test framework experience: Go testing, Testify, mock frameworks
• ▹Load testing tools: k6, Locust, JMeter
• ▹Docker
• ▹Experience with event-sourced or append-only database patterns
• ▹Temporal.io SDK experience, even from personal projects
• ▹Python for scripting and test tooling
• ▹Prometheus-based metrics instrumentation
• ▹Telecom protocol familiarity: Diameter, SS7, SMPP
