Responsibilities

▹Translate technical requirements into detailed backend designs for scalable, tier-1 systems
▹Drive innovation, maintainability, performance and scalability, building headless systems under strict timelines
▹Lead backend engineering on schema design, uptime and high-end security
▹Design a credit scoring system, including how to gamify the experience while ensuring strong ROI on lending decisions
▹Build an invoice matching algorithm to accurately match invoices to deposits at scale
▹Optimise payment orchestration to lower costs and increase margins
▹Set up an analytics system tracking all relevant metrics
▹Integrate with external systems such as Stripe, Plaid, QuickBooks and Economic

Requirements

▹4+ years of experience with Python
▹4+ years of experience with the AWS ecosystem

Nice to have

▹1+ years of experience with banking integrations
▹1+ years of experience with accounting integrations
▹1+ years of experience with payment gateways and processors such as Stripe
▹GitHub links to applications you have developed
