Senior Back-End Engineer (Python/AWS)

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, develop and maintain scalable back-end systems and APIs in Python (Django, FastAPI)
• ▹Work closely with front-end developers, DevOps engineers and business analysts
• ▹Take part in architecture discussions and propose improvements for scalability, maintainability and security
• ▹Write clean, well-documented code and contribute to code reviews
• ▹Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
• ▹Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, AWS cloud infrastructure and observability improvements

Requirements

• ▹Solid hands-on experience with Python and modern frameworks (Django, FastAPI)
• ▹Practical knowledge of AWS services and deploying applications in the cloud
• ▹Proven ability to design, implement and maintain modular, scalable systems and APIs
• ▹Strong understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL) and experience with ORMs
• ▹Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins) and version control best practices
• ▹Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions with minimal supervision
• ▹Excellent communication skills and experience in agile, cross-functional teams

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with asynchronous/event-driven systems (Celery, RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• ▹Knowledge of Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools
• ▹Familiarity with Docker and container-based deployments
• ▹Experience with monitoring and logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
• ▹Understanding of NoSQL or in-memory databases (MongoDB, Redis)
