Senior Backend Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Build and maintain foundational tools that streamline feature squad workflows
• ▹Guide the transition to a microservices architecture by leading migration of monolithic components
• ▹Ensure robust unit and integration test coverage for critical services
• ▹Shape the platform's architecture through technical discussions and decision-making
• ▹Improve CI/CD artifacts to support squad efficiency and seamless deployment
• ▹Refine existing code for efficiency, security, and maintainability
• ▹Improve observability to support continuity and health of platform domains

Requirements

• ▹Minimum 5 years in backend development, with 2+ years in C# and .NET Core
• ▹Strong skills in REST APIs and related technologies
• ▹Proficiency in unit and integration testing and SOLID principles
• ▹Good understanding of Domain-Driven Design and architectural impact
• ▹Experience with Entity Framework and MSSQL
• ▹Excellent analytical skills for complex code and architecture
• ▹Proficiency in spoken and written English

Nice to have

• ▹Experience working in a microservices architecture
• ▹Knowledge of DevOps tech (K8s, Docker, Helm, GCP)
