Responsibilities

• ▹Lead the development of scalable data solutions for Kubernetes and cloud machines
• ▹Hire, coach and mentor the team
• ▹Contribute code directly when needed
• ▹Manage expectations with other engineering teams and senior management
• ▹Advocate modern, agile software development practices

Requirements

• ▹Software engineering background with Python and Golang experience
• ▹Experience running in production at scale (Big Data or MySQL)
• ▹Proven ability to build high-quality, open-source software
• ▹Team leadership ability

Nice to have

• ▹Specialist knowledge in Spark, Superset or MySQL
• ▹Prior experience with open source communities
