Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Complying with and enforcing safe working conditions
• ▹Operational participation in project execution, liaising with contractors
• ▹On-site equipment and factory acceptance testing
• ▹Preparing site documentation related to equipment, carrying out commissioning
• ▹Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, optimizing production processes through automation
• ▹Following cybersecurity protocols to protect systems
• ▹Participating in global networks, sharing lessons learned
• ▹Participating in global initiatives upon request
• ▹Understanding current global design guidelines and applications
• ▹Performing required checks, reporting non-conformities to supervisors, contributing to resolving them
• ▹Contributing to the upkeep of operated equipment, technology, buildings and tools
• ▹Efficiently and economically resolving technical faults, improving the troubleshooting process
• ▹Proposing efficiency improvements, particularly regarding machine performance indicators

Requirements

• ▹University degree in electrical or mechatronics engineering
• ▹Training, qualification and experience in automation
• ▹Communication-level English
• ▹Thorough equipment knowledge and troubleshooting skills
• ▹Knowledge of precision maintenance concepts

Nice to have

• ▹Practical knowledge of procurement systems and CMMS is an advantage
