Responsibilities

• ▹Automate manual tasks
• ▹Technical setup and management of the (cloud) environments
• ▹Carry out upgrades (new component versions) and updates (patches)
• ▹Logging, monitoring and optimization of the environments
• ▹Set up and use CI/CD
• ▹Release management
• ▹Capacity management
• ▹Set up management processes
• ▹Translate the design into an implementation and write the accompanying rollout instructions
• ▹Act as first point of contact for third-line knowledge questions
• ▹Design tactical solutions for the customer (integrations, migrations, security, required performance)
• ▹Help other teams with automation, including knowledge transfer and training
• ▹Document and clearly articulate concepts, for example input for the test strategy

Requirements

• ▹At least 8 years of experience in the technical management of private cloud environments
• ▹Automation with Red Hat Ansible (certified or demonstrated experience)
• ▹Automatic provisioning of IaaS and PaaS services
• ▹Databases in an enterprise environment
• ▹Secure by Design
• ▹At least Red Hat RHCSA certification (or demonstrated experience)
• ▹Knowledge of Linux (RHEL 8 and/or 9)
• ▹Scripting, mainly Ansible, Infrastructure/Configuration as Code, and Python or PowerShell
• ▹Familiarity with hosting (IaaS and PaaS), high availability, high performance, scalability and security best practices
• ▹Security techniques, encryption, zoning and segmentation concepts for applications and data
• ▹Version control: GitLab and Git client
• ▹Supporting tooling for monitoring, logging and antivirus, plus dashboarding and virtualization
• ▹Compute, network and storage design concepts
• ▹Container technologies (Kubernetes)
• ▹Experience with CI/CD tools
• ▹Experience with Linux and Red Hat
• ▹Experience with hyperconverged infrastructure (for example Nutanix)
• ▹Dutch nationality and a Dutch passport to be allowed to work for the customer
• ▹Able to speak and write Dutch
