Responsibilities

• ▹Lead complex, ambiguous projects end-to-end with multiple stakeholders
• ▹Operate with high ownership: identify problems and drive execution independently
• ▹Collaborate with teammates across the UK, US, Canada and Israel, async-first
• ▹Contribute to cross-cutting engineering initiatives and shared product primitives
• ▹Balance business priorities, UX and long-term technical sustainability
• ▹Raise the bar for code quality, system design and operational excellence

Requirements

• ▹7+ years of full-stack experience with strong backend expertise
• ▹Proven ability to lead large, cross-functional projects spanning weeks or months
• ▹High agency, comfortable as the only engineer on the team in your location
• ▹Strong written and verbal communication in distributed, async-first environments
• ▹Track record building user-facing SaaS products for startups and enterprise
• ▹Experience building 0-to-1 products as well as scaling existing systems
• ▹Open to using AI responsibly to amplify skills and impact

Nice to have

• ▹TypeScript and GraphQL experience
