Senior Fullstack Software Engineer, Authoring Experience

Responsibilities

• ▹Own architecture and rollout strategy for critical platform services
• ▹Design customer-facing APIs, owning security, reliability, and developer experience
• ▹Stitch together platform services, partnering with data-platform teams
• ▹Drive RFCs and decision records for architectural decisions
• ▹Mentor engineers and support team health and culture
• ▹Build with TypeScript and Node.js on the backend, React on the frontend, using AI tools

Requirements

• ▹8+ years of backend development building reliable, scalable systems
• ▹Experience designing and shipping external/public product APIs (contracts, versioning, authentication)
• ▹Thinking in service boundaries and system design
• ▹Comfortable in a modern frontend codebase (React)
• ▹Track record driving complex, multi-quarter initiatives
• ▹Experience rolling out or deprecating large-scale systems safely
• ▹Strong written communication and demonstrated mentorship
