Senior Software Quality Engineer (Test Automation)

Responsibilities

• ▹Developing test tools and technical aids to secure project customizations
• ▹Building test data generators for interface, integration and end-to-end scenarios
• ▹Developing mocks, simulators, adapters and connectors to make complex system landscapes testable
• ▹Automating integration tests for APIs, services, data flows and cross-process workflows
• ▹Integrating automated tests into existing build, test and deployment processes
• ▹Ensuring the stability, maintainability and extensibility of test automation (architecture, logging, reporting, error diagnostics)
• ▹Supporting developers with testability, test design, test data, debugging and regression testing
• ▹Introducing technical standards and best practices for integration testing across project teams

Requirements

• ▹Completed technical training in computer science, software development or software engineering
• ▹At least 5 years of experience in software development, test automation or quality engineering
• ▹Hands-on experience building or extending test automation frameworks
• ▹Productive development skills in at least one programming language (e.g. Java, C#, Python, TypeScript)
• ▹Understanding of software architectures, interfaces, data models, logs and distributed systems
• ▹Experience with tools such as Git, Jira, Jenkins or comparable CI/CD environments
• ▹Independent, structured, solution-oriented work with clear technical communication
