Software Quality Engineer (Test Automation)

Responsibilities

• ▹Supporting developers in implementing project-specific software customizations, embedding quality assurance from the start
• ▹Developing, maintaining and extending automated tests for project features, interfaces, APIs and end-to-end flows
• ▹Analyzing requirements, technical concepts and user stories to derive meaningful test cases and test automation
• ▹Supporting error analysis, reproduction and securing bug fixes through regression tests
• ▹Integrating automated tests into existing build, test and deployment processes
• ▹Working closely with software development, system integration, DevOps and technical product management
• ▹Actively contributing QA know-how to project teams, sharing best practices on test design, test data, testability and automation

Requirements

• ▹Completed technical training in computer science, software development or a comparable field
• ▹More than 5 years of experience in software development or technical software testing
• ▹Experience with test automation (APIs, UIs, services or integration scenarios)
• ▹Familiarity with tools such as Git, Jenkins or comparable CI/CD environments, Jira, test management tools
• ▹Knowledge of Java, C#, Python or a comparable language
• ▹Understanding of complex system relationships and structured root-cause analysis skills
