The Sales Engineer is the technical partner in every significant Firecrawl deal — demonstrating capabilities, architecting the solution, running proofs of concept, and answering the technical questions that decide the deal.
Stack
Responsibilities
- ▹Own the technical side of the sales cycle: discovery, solution architecture, demos, and proof of concepts
- ▹Get hands-on with the product in front of customers, showing exactly how Firecrawl solves their problem
- ▹Answer the deep technical questions that make or break a deal, pulling in engineering when needed
- ▹Build POCs and technical proposals that turn "interesting" into "signed"
- ▹Be the trusted technical voice for prospects, feeding their feedback back to product and engineering
- ▹Partner closely with the revenue team to move deals forward and hit targets
Requirements
- ▹3+ years in sales engineering, solutions engineering, or a technical customer-facing role, ideally at a developer or API product
- ▹Technical enough to read code, use an API, and build a real POC
- ▹Ability to translate between deep technical detail and business value
- ▹Energized by customer conversations, comfortable owning deal outcomes
- ▹Must already be authorized to work in the US or the company's eligible remote-hire regions (no visa sponsorship currently)
