Engineering Manager (Growth)

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead and manage an engineering team focused on growth
• ▹Partner closely with Product, Design, Marketing, and Data to enable rapid experimentation and A/B testing
• ▹Collaborate with activation and onboarding teams to ensure a seamless end-to-end user experience
• ▹Drive alignment across the team on process, prioritization, and product outcomes
• ▹Develop the team through weekly 1-1s, mentorship, and feedback
• ▹Help develop aspiring engineering leaders within the team
• ▹Contribute to the broader company strategy and product roadmap
• ▹Help grow the engineering team from 120 to 175+ headcount through the remainder of the year
• ▹Shape how the team adopts and uses AI tools responsibly
• ▹Remain an active technical contributor through pairing and key design decisions

Requirements

• ▹3+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager at a high-growth startup or scale-up
• ▹5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
• ▹Strong product mindset with a track record of building cross-functional relationships that drive great user experiences
• ▹Strong technical foundation to ensure the team makes appropriate technical decisions
• ▹Flexibility and adaptability to navigate dynamic growth roadmaps
• ▹BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field

Nice to have

• ▹Prior experience with SEO and paid advertising
• ▹Prior experience with Python, React, and AWS infrastructure
• ▹Experience in health tech, building user-facing products
• ▹Experience applying AI/ML to growth contexts: personalization, intelligent routing, LLM-powered content, or experimentation at scale
