Responsibilities

▹Lead the Verification Squad, removing bottlenecks and managing cross-team dependencies
▹Partner with Product, Compliance, and Operations to translate KYC/KYB requirements into engineering outcomes
▹Drive technical and organisational improvements, reducing legacy overhead and improving tooling
▹Shape roadmap priorities with the PM, accounting for compliance and AI-influenced features
▹Maintain high standards for observability, controlled failures, and auditability including AI components
▹Develop engineers through regular 1:1s, feedback, and stretch opportunities

Requirements

▹Proven track record of leading engineering teams through technical transformation and legacy modernisation
▹Strong technical depth in backend technologies, particularly Go and API/integration architecture
▹Hands-on experience with observability, CI/CD, and testing practices
▹Experience (or a strong appetite to learn) in KYC/KYB regulatory environments and frameworks like eIDAS
▹Combines strategic thinking with hands-on technical credibility
▹Communicates with clarity, empathy, and transparency
