IT Specialist – Operations Center

Responsibilities

• ▹Monitoring managed IT services in 24/7 mode (operations center)
• ▹Proactively analyzing and resolving faults to ensure system availability
• ▹Applying best-practice guidelines and following defined playbooks
• ▹Carrying out change management processes for hardware and software
• ▹Documenting incidents and forwarding them in a structured way to specialized support teams
• ▹Supporting the stable operation of IT systems with an elevated protection level

Requirements

• ▹Completed IT vocational training (e.g. Fachinformatiker) or comparable qualification, or a career change with relevant IT retraining
• ▹Initial professional experience operating or securing IT infrastructures
• ▹Experience with Linux-based systems
• ▹Basic knowledge of monitoring tools in heterogeneous system landscapes

Nice to have

• ▹Knowledge of automation or Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g. Ansible, Terraform)
• ▹Experience working in regulated environments (e.g. ISO 27001, BSI standards)
