System Engineer - M365 & Modern Workplace

The client is a key player in critical infrastructure and energy supply, looking for a System Engineer in Berlin to develop and operate a modern Microsoft 365-based cloud workplace platform.

Responsibilities

  • Creating and developing technical concepts, policies and governance guidelines for Microsoft 365
  • Planning and implementing technical measures (e.g. configuration, automation, scripting, reporting) to maintain defined standards
  • Operating and optimizing the Microsoft 365 environment (OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, Office apps)
  • Administering and developing the Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft Fabric
  • Analyzing and resolving incidents and supporting users
  • Close coordination with IT architecture, IT strategy and business departments
  • Technically developing the M365 landscape in line with security and architecture guidelines

Requirements

  • Completed studies in computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in the Microsoft 365 environment, particularly in creating policies/governance and administering/configuring M365 services
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, ideally also the Power Platform Center of Excellence
  • Experience in the technical implementation of requirements (e.g. automation, scripting)
  • Very good German language skills

Nice to have

  • PowerShell knowledge
  • Experience with Microsoft Project Server
  • Experience collaborating with IT architecture and strategic units
